Norman Hannotte, Engineer
Norman Hannotte is the Founder and Principal Engineer, with 20+ years of experience in technology, including a broad portfolio of projects across the consumer and OEM electronics, automotive, defense, medical and industrial sectors. Working for companies such as General Electric, Flir Systems, and Karl Storz Imaging, he has successfully lead developments that have generated millions of dollars of revenue, with products such as commercial air quality monitors, heavy duty automotive emissions sensors, industrial infrared cameras and medical flexible endoscopes. Norman received the General Electric Energy Services Impact Award in 2009 and the General Electric Early Career Achievement Award in 2011. He has been awarded three patents.
An Alberta, Canada native, he earned a Bsc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and following a move to the US, completed an MBA from Arizona State University in 2014.
Norman lives in Santa Barbara, California, USA with his wife Jennifer and kids Westin and Wynona. He is passionate about playing ice hockey and loves camping. He is also an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts.
